What are your favorite destinations for quality live music?

What are your favorite local bands?

I don't tend to get out to hear live music too much, but caught about half a set from Sweet Japonic at RendeZoo Friday night and all I can say is those guys are good!

The Icicles, a local indie-pop group, have had some national success - both Motorola and Target use their songs as jingles in TV commercials. They have several upcoming performances in the area

Most of my favorite Blues bands are out of Chicago. Larry McCray is from the Kalamazoo area, he's pretty good.

Love going to Billy's to see a show. There's just something about that place I love.

The group of kids from East Grand Rapids, Quadraphonic is good. I've got their CD here on my desk.

I like music of all kinds but GR has a great underground rap scene. Where they perform (if they even do), I'd have no idea.

We saw a band at Festival this year. I think they are called "The Really Bad British Accents." They were flat out awesome!!!!
