With the number of local musicians in and around town, I'm sure some of the agents in that field can and do work with the movie studios and producers.

My girlfriend was an extra in a couple of episodes in an HBO series and several commercials (no actual lines), but that was before I met her and before she moved to Texas. She still does plays at UT....she's not bad..

She told me that casting agents are assholes, and many great actors got their first big part "through a buddy".

Actors are "different" people. Trust me....we are talking extra bubbly.
