Imagine the outcry (from some) if the Treasury Dept. put out a note like this today.

It wouldn't be possible...just like the gasoline engine. It is interesting however that these days it seems perfectly ok for TV shows, movies and commercials to show partial nudity or even full on nudity when in 1895 there would have likely been an outcry at such demonstrations. The public are mostly hypocrits IMO.
