ILM expanding it's international terminal

Wilmington's International Airport is planning to quadruple its international terminal. The current terminal is separate from the general terminal and is used mainly by private jets of people arriving from the Caribbean and South America. It is much faster trip through customs than most larger airports for them. With the expanded international terminal ILM will be able to handle most international jet traffic, which airport officials hope will bring commercial flights to and from places such as the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. A proposal is in the works now for a flight from Wilmington to London with a stop in Bermuda.

On a side note the airport is having it's best year ever, with the more competitive fares, people don't find it necessary to go to Myrtle Beach or Raleigh to find a good deal. Each month seems to bring a new record amount of passengers.
