Housing permits still increasing in the metro

Kansas City and the Kansas City area is still increasing in housing permits.

The Kansas City area has reached a high of 3,693 permits since January. A number that hasn't been reached since 1998 (and the years before that are unknown in permits).

Also in April, Kansas City (proper) issued 549 more housing permits, still leading the metro in housing permits. 435 of which were issued in Clay county, which currently holds less than half the Kansas City population.

The metro is still growing fast and of course the permits are increasing.
