This isn't totally new, but certainly helps illustrate the changes to Buckhead in the style of development.

Residential high-rise will add 209 units to Buckhead Village

A new 22-story residential tower is under construction in the heart of Buckhead Village.

Paces 325 is on East Paces Ferry Road across from Sobu Flats.

Chartwell Development Partners is using the bustle of Buckhead Village as a selling point for the 209-unit building. Prices will range from just under $190,000 to more than $500,000.

It's a classic residential high-rise, similar to Midtown's two Mayfair towers. A modern flourish is a rounded corner, offering panoramic views from the living room of one prime unit per floor.

The first three floors will house sidewalk shops with studio apartments above. The fourth floor includes an outdoor plaza with a swimming pool, tennis courts and a fitness center.

Exterior construction topped out in July, and work is continuing on the interiors, said Chartwell partners Nixon Jefferson and Ralph Williams. Thirty-seven of the 209 units are under contract or in negotiation, they said, adding that they are not concerned about those sales figures because the financing arrangement did not require pre-sales before construction.
