Development boom in Wilmington's North side

Here is an article on the development boom that is taking place on Wilmington's Downtown North side which I think will be the second core of Wilmington's Downtown. The other core being the Historic downtown to the south. This article was written earlier this year and since then PPD has been completed and has said it will in deed build another tower although no time line has been announced. Construction on the Marina with the condos is well underway and the new tower metioned on third street is a new Bank of America building which will begin construction this fall.

I was in the Wilmington area today visiting Southport.

On the way back, downtown Wilmington looked great while crossing the bridge over the Cape Fear. The PPD headquarters looked good on the skyline. Hopefully the new developments mentioned will add to it.
