Hide your couches, Columbus!

Well, this Saturday is the big matchup everyone's been waiting for all season, and if recent history is any indicator, there will be tens of thousands of folks on Campus well after the game is over, and I am guessing that there will be a few pieces of furniture set on fire as a "sacrifice" to the win (or loss).

What is everyone's view on this "tradition"? I personally do not see an issue with student's burning their old couches, but where it crosses the line is when cars are vandalized, things are thrown at the police, and people get hurt.

it always starts with a coutch and with drunk students it doesnt stop until after the police come, ppl will keep adding to a small fire and things escalate out of control, cars are damaged and fliped, signs are torn down, I've seen a lot of destruction in college.
