In today's Daily Business Review: 516-Unit tower to join Miami's crowded luxury condo field.

Developer Pedro Martin (Developer of Quantum) bought the entire 900 block of Biscayne Blvd. last month from Hank Sopher (owner of Quik Park) for $14.7 million. The project will be called "900 Biscayne" and will festure a 56-story tower. Prices will range from $250,000 to $1 million. The project also includes retail and office space as well as a wellness center. Construction is projected to begin in January 2005 and will last for 26 months.

No word on the actual height, but the article says the project "will be slightly taller than Ten Museum Park next door". The article states that Ten Museum Park sold out in nine days. The developer of Ten Museum Park optimistically says that in ten years the area will "be like Lake Shore Drive in Chicago".

The architects are Revuelta Vega Leon P.A.
