I went to the fight friday night and really enjoyed the fights. The main event was a hometown boy Anthony Peterson. It rained a little, but I was able to get under the pavillion for a ringside seat. The fights were exciting. The only thing I see that needs to improve is to add a jumbo screen for replays. There were about 600 people in attendance and would have drawn more if not for the light drizzle. Any body else go? One last point while I read the numbers were low 9,000 at the FedEx Forum for taylor and wright Memphis seems to continue it's momentum as a fight city.

I read the Geoff Calkins article about the FedEx fight. According to him, the cheapest tickets were overpriced at $1100, accounting for the low turnout of 9000.
