Governor's Mansion

I would greatly appreciate if someone would provide some information on the other Governor's mansion New Channel 11 Reported on (I missed the report). I don't understand the need for two houses. It annoys me that there is they aren't using the one downtown. Is it not big enough?

I didn't see the report, but I assume this mountain house is a vacation home. You also may recall that they discovered a bad mold problem in the Gov's Mansion last summer.

As posted, there was a bad mold problem with the mansion. The entire HVAC system had to be removed and replaced, a pretty major operation. I am not sure if they are done yet. Hence the "two" mansions. Don't worry, Easley will be back to peel out on Blount St. in NASCAR's in no time.

They are two seperate mansions. The one in the mountains is used as a vacation home and by former governor's and their family. The mansion in Raleigh has been renovated and is back in use.
