Newcomer advice.

My family and I will be relocating to Charlotte in the next few months. We have two children, 5 and 2. We don't know too much about the area, and I was hoping to get some input from people who live there. We were considering Huntersville, Matthews or Union County. I will be commuting into the city everyday for work. Can you all give me some idea of the better schools, traffic, travel time, pros and cons, etc. of some of these areas? I would really appreciate it. BTW - We took a trip down there a few weeks ago and it is a beautiful city!
