Hmmm... that's an interesting way of doing things. I wonder how many accidents that will cause?? Surely they have some kind of safety features in mind to keep people from getting confused and going the wrong way at the wrong time of day.

I believe the 3rd span would have two traffic lanes, with safety lanes on both sides. The plan for a new span also includes adding safety lanes to both sides of the current spans, which is something that is desperately needed.

There is a rendering of the proposed span that was shown everywhere yesterday, but I can't seem to find it on the internet.
