san jose aquarium/zoo

why doesnt san jose have an aquarium or a larger zoo for more audiences then the childs... or maybe even some like the metreon... it just bugs me that we dont have anything real, should i say, like that of cities to our north or south.....???

Well, there is the Tech Museum, though I don't know how much of an attraction that is for people.... (I'm ashamed to say I've never been there....) It would be nice to have a cool zoo, we've got the room!! It would probably draw a large crowd too as a considerable number of folks make the journey from the south bay to SF or Oakland for this kind of thing. It'd be tough to do something on the scale of Monterey Bay Aquarium without having access to seawater like they do, though there are some nice inland aquariums around the country. Hey, if we had them, I'd go!!

we got plenty of room in the south almaden valley for a zoo...that would be soo cool to have a zoo there with the santa cruz mountains close by! even south coyote vally would be good.
