Track Day in May

For any of you into cars, or know people who are into drag racing/cars.

GA 3S/GA DSM Track Day and Import Showdown is back for 2004! Last year we had 120+ vehicles running, 350+ in attendance, and over 1500 dollars in cash payouts. We're back teaming up with the GA 3S folks for another year.

This year we're expecting it to be even bigger and better. This year, DSMs get their own class with 25% of the payout pool. Plus we are continuing our Street Class, open to any import or import branded vehicle. This is one of the fastest growing, not for profit events. Now being dubbed 'SE Shootout', it brings some of the top DSMs in the southeast.

This event still consists of mostly run as much as you want, with every vehicle last year averaging well over 6 passes and hot lappers getting 20+!

The skinny:

When: May 2nd, 2004

Time: 10am gates, 11am racing

Where: Silver Dollar Raceway, Reynolds GA

Cost: $10 entry race or watch, $15 dollar tech cards (25 total to race)
