I'm just curious as to how Urbanplanet.org is funded, and if you don't mind, how much does it cost to keep it up and running?

UrbanPlanet.org is funded 100% through advertisements on the site. Operational costs cannot be disclosed however it is in the thousands as we are a Corporation (LLC) and we do require a great deal of hosting capability to keep the site up and running. New development for the site also does not come for free. Many things are in the works, both on paper and in minds to enhance our offerings. 2006 will be a great year for both UrbanPlanet.org and its users.
