Grand Rapids Shopper Card/Gift Card Program

Somebody contacted me recently wanting to know if a local discount shopper card for Grand Rapids businesses existed. I know that GVSU and Calvin have something similar for their students and some high schools sell special ones for their booster clubs, but has anyone heard of a regular card that includes businesses from around the entire area? This person seemed to think there was one in the past, but wasn't sure.

If there isn't one, it might cool to put one together that would especially include businesses downtown and in Eastown.
