Alumen8 is a gathering of innovative thinkers, wanting to encourage innovation...but it is really the brainchild of Bob Kullgren (which you already know if you've been to the site!). He's an interesting person, working on interesting things...and it's all about helping people get out of the box and make a positive contribution.

Reminds me of the guys who would approach me on the Grand Valley bus and try to get me to "work" for them. They could never give me a job description. They would just say buzz-phrases like "start your own business" and "e-commerce". Gosh I hated those people.

Boy GRCentro, you're hard to beat. Anyone ever notice the BATS hanging from the Pantlind Hotel:
