Tonight: ABC 6 News - Overview of Providence Projects

Recommended Posts

Just saw on the 11pm News, ABC 6 did an in depth overview of all the downtown Providence construction projects, said that there was $2 billion in construction underway and credited this investment due to the lack of corruption in city hall since the majority of investors were out of towners.

Nothing much new to learn about the projects themselves or any new ones but just gave a good overview.

>>This was on the ABC 6 11pm news however on Channel 5 they have their all local news channel which repeats the most recent news broadcast so if your interested it should be on again around 11:40pm, 12:10am, 12:40am and so on.

They did show some good pictures from about 15-20 years ago of the old Providence with covered rivers and the roundabout where Citizens Bank is now.

That's what I was thinking. BlueChip is (OneTen Westminster) is from Boston. Maybe a lot of the money is coming from outside, but the developers seem to be mostly local.
