For some reason I thought the median home price was higher than $150 in Jax. Maybe that's just St. Johns County?

AsonJ, I think you are correct. I remember reading Duval home prices were already beyond $200k.

I'm sure the average home prices were indeed $150k ... it's just that they've gone up about 30-35% in the past year or so!!!

I distinctly remember Jax's average home price being under $140k just a few short years ago.

and if you look at that report, i think it should be organized by the 5year appreciation...that gives a more accurate "big picture"...under this categorization, Jax is the 2nd--behind only Phoenix
