Historic Commission vs. Williamson

This is one of the reasons why I'm still a little reserved about the mayor. Williamson is essentially letting the Flint Historic Commission die by not appointing any new members since July of last year. Two members have had to stay past their terms just so there will be enough people to actually vote on anything.

I'll give him credit for finally appointing 4 new members, but of course the City Council is bypassed and doesn't get a chance to approve the appointments. I know the council can be ***holes about his appointments, but now this will probably just be another long battle over another directive given by the mayor. Flint really has an inefficient government right now.
