Just got word that Goodman Manufacturing in Fayetteville is closing in 2017. This is a huge blow to that city and county. They employ on average 1500 people. Daikin just bought them out and is consolidating manufacturing and logistics to a new $400 million campus outside of Houston. Hopefully two years will be enough to find someone else to take over the plant, but I know there are a lot of scared people right now. One of my companies biggest customers.
