Implosion of the Travelers Building

I took these pictures almost 20 years ago. The first one is the old state house. The second one is the top of the old JH from the now closed observatory in the new JH.

The Travelers Insurance Building was 20 or 25 stories, hideously ugly with square blue panels and glass. I put some of these shots up quite a while ago on the Boston forum, but thought many of you didn't see them there.

I was working the night before and couldn't stay up to see the implosion.

You know I still think of Rowes Wharf and International Place as new buildings, but there they are.
