Wtih Evernham merging with a new majority owner, I will predict right now that next season his cars will be very competitive each week. With more time to keep his nose in those racecars, he will put winning cars on the track even more than he does now.
  2. Ok - it is the "Mid Towne Village" new building. I drove slower this morning and I would surmise that a car has rammed into the brand new building. Had to have hit it pretty hard

Just finished reading Tony Dungy's new book. Great backstories about Tampa and Indianapolis leading up to the Superbowl. gives some great insight to what goes on behind the scenes with coaching staff, ownership and the players. Congrats to Tony and the Colts!
  4. I drove to work on Michigan today and noticed a HUGE hole in the brand new foundation of one of the new projects. Park Row maybe? sorry for not knowing the name, but almost crashed when I rubbernecked it looking at the damage. Anyone know what happened?

^Even though I reside in Michigan, I would argue that it is down right silly that MIS has 2 races - less than 60 days apart. I would love to see them race at KY and MIS lose a race. Similar tracks so the teams would essentially run the same car. Also - Now that the USGP is off Indy's schedule, I would move the Brickyard 400 later into the season so to avoid the always possible HOT and HUMID midwest weather. I have been to 5 or 6 Brickyards where is was downright miserable because of heat and/or humidity. just sayin....
  6. Thanks to the families contributing financially, Congrats to our community, Encouragement to all of our West Michigan Entrepreneurs!
  7. This would be freakin awesome! No traffic, no construction, no IPASS - Sweet. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...CAL18/707050439
  8. If Indy - Cincy - Chicago can be thinking it, why can't GR - Detroit - Chicago work? This would be a home run - fast transit to Chi-town and back without the construction delays and burning $3.00/gal gas. Do we have any LEADERSHIP in Lansing to push this? http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...CAL18/707050439
  9. I believe that land is owned by none other than Mr. Azzar.
