Does anyone know how tall the arena is going to be.By the rendering it looks pretty tall.

The way i took it was they can seat more for college than the nba

What this whole thing boils down to is this.Does Orlando want a nba team here and hopefully get a fottbal and basball big league team here eventually.We all know that in a matter of a few short years we will have the population to support all three.If we want to play with the big boys we have to shell out the money just like any other big city imo.

I agree.Or let just run the magic out of town dont build an arena and the old td waterhouse can set empty and we all lose out.

Or we can give all the tax money to rosen and the hoteliers and they can put more ads on tv i dont get your point.Tjis is good for all of us the live in Central FL.

How can they seat more fans for college b ball and less for nba b ball?

I think i read somewhere that that is for NBA Basketball.And more for college.I dont know what the difference is.Orlandonative can you help me out here with this?

If UCF dont start winning some games the stadium will be empty.Seems like they are going backwards and not forward.That loss didnt help recuiting either

Let me ask everyone a question as iam not an expert on this.Why doesnt Orlando,THe county sate and even feds pony up some monies and build some high rise affordable apartments in the parramore area.I have said it b/4 but in Indy they built two 45 story towers downtown that was funded by all the identies indy,state and feds.Whyw wouldnt that work here?The buildings are very attractive and add alot to their downtown.Just a thought.Or even build wome highrises for middle and upper income folks also

i agree.First off most of the ticket holders dont live in the intl drive area.Second this is supposed to be for us as a city and to have a civic pride.I still see Harris ROSEN IN THE PICTURE OF THIS SOMEHOW AND THE WAY THEY DECIDED TO HELP FUND ALL OF THIS.iF THE ARENA GOES TO INTL DRIVE SOMEHWO IT MAKES IT SEEM LIKE THE MAGIC ISNT OUR HOMETOWN TEAM ANYMOR BUT THE HOTELIERS SURE WOULD BENEFIT.

Thats one reason why we dont have a major business downtown is because of the messed up roads

Well looking at it from his[Devos] perspective he can go somewhere else and get a new arena kc mo for instance and leave us high and dry.He say he want to say but big money talks.Kansas City would kiss his but to get them to relocate
