Retractable would be the better way, then it’s the best of both. I’m understanding why Metro and the Convention folks would like for this to happen. Just recently the Kenny Chesney show was sold out and now CMA . Imagine packing 50-60 thousand people into stadium , then it storms on them . The weather this week is prime example of this, it might be acceptable for diehard football fans , to sit in extreme weather, but I wouldn’t like to watch a show of any type in the rain or snow. I don’t think it would sit to well, to tell a sold out show that they now have to leave because show is canceled due to weather.

That happened in July 2021 for the Garth Brooks concert.  The "Thunder Rolled and Lighting Strikes" and forced the show to cancel.

Didn't realize that the terminal wing expansion areas had security zones part of them.  Makes since due to the main lobby construction starting soon.  I assume the south terminal wing expansion will include one as well.  I think I remember reading that the B and A terminals will be cut off airside from C and D during the main lobby renovation, correct?

Has anyone flown Allegiant before? My sister and her husband have a few times from Knoxville and the rates are good but they have always had multiple hour delays.

Also, will the expansion of the airport allow for BNA to take on more domestic lanes? If so, what is the capacity gain for the expansions?

I've flown them on the Grand Rapids to BNA route and the Punta Gorda to BNA route.  Both were newish Airbus planes and no issues.  Would fly them again in a heartbeat.  Seat is a little thin on the padding, but much better than connecting with another airline.

I think it's a 787, which is what BA will run on their Nashville route to begin with. Of note, BA upgraded Austin to a 747 recently after 3 years of success on that route.

It's definitely a 787 dreamliner.  The easiest way to pick out a 787 is the serrated edge on the rear portion of the engine.  See this photo k64771-03.jpg
