Ok, I have walked all the way around this building...Where is the Dexters going to be? I don't see any evidence of a Dexters anywhere....

What about the movie theater? Anybody know anything about it? We are just a few weeks away from July 4th and I don't see any evidence from the windows that this thing will open on that day...

Where would you build the hotel on church St? I am pretty sure that Mr. Kuhn would not be allowed to knock down any of the existing buildings due to their historical significance...

Does anyone really think that the hiring of Billy D. will affect the success/failure of the proposed arena?

As far as the Arena goes, does anyone know of any precedent of someone with Devos level of money financing it privately and running it as a private enterprise. Keeping all revenue (tickets, concerts, concessions, etc)? Seems to me if the country drives too hard of a deal, he could build this out of his pocket change and then keep all the money for himself.

Went to the Improv last night...the show was great and I was pleasantly surprised just how nice it is on the inside. After the show, went next door to the lounge, which was very nice and very empty. I am not sure why it was so empty, just on the other side of 55W, people were standing in long lines to get into any of the clubs there and this lounge was empty. It would be a real shame to lose this treasure. It looks kind of old on the outside, but it looks great on the inside. Let the developers redevelop somewhere else (like that empty lot at the corner of Orange and Pine (I think). Church street is a keeper.

Anyone know if old Lou was involved with 55W? If so, will it have any effect on construction progress?

Some of those palm fronds are dead already. They need to thin those trees out...
