  1. i hope your idea can become a reality, and hope that Downtown becomes more and more liveable, and vibrant. I love the Downtown area.
  2. i have acess to a digital camera, so some new pics are coming soon, but for now these will do.
  3. oops, forgot, Aspen Condos and for Capitol Plaza:Capitol Plaza Tower
  4. total change of subject...but oh well. Here are three more views of the 17 story Aspen building in Downtown Boise.
  5. no, i don't and actually... after reading your plan agian, that almost seems like the exact thing they want to do, from my perspective
  6. actually i do, you can visit Boise Condos and Lofts, and Boise is marketing its downtown as a place to live, work, shop, and play, so I think there is a demand for it, there are planty of condo projects planned
  7. the idea you have should be ok...because it doesn't sound very tall, when a building gets taller than say...12 stories, then there is the trouble, from what i see, it may be diffrent
  8. i cant say that i have, although from what i see and understand, developing a high-rise in Boise seems to put you through hell, there are so many people who want the city the way it was before the 1960's and 1970's, when the tallest of the high-rises in the city were built (One Capitol Center, Key Bank, and US Bank)
  9. Ya, the Foothills are a 10 minutes drive from my house, where there are 2 lakes, and up further about 30-40 minutes away there are taller mountains which are perfect for tubing on...its so much fun, and those shots exclude the Hampton Inn (120') and the Banner Bank Building(182') which really make a diffrence, they also don't have the Grove Hotel, which is the third largest building in the city
  10. here are two that i found on the internet
  11. ill add them as soon as i can
  12. I guess I'll add the Capitol Plaza building, since the Aspen is already in this thread Here are the renderings
  13. here is a new veiw of the Aspen
  14. 916 Park--rendering is not the best, but it is all there is, and it will probably end up looking better than this
  15. yes i do, i even have a rendering(weird coloring, but oh well, it shows brown glass, but that wont be the true color, i hope, but anything is possible)
  16. Banner Bank nearing Completion, here is a rendering of what it will look like when done
  17. The Multi-Station idea is how Boise built its Bus system, i ride the bus that goes through my part of town, change lines, and i can be in Nampa, ID about 20 miles away, or at the mall, about 10 miles away(Boise's Metro is really spred out...)
  18. Linen District in west Downtown Linen District
  19. 147' Condo Building with ground floor retail, This would go next to the headquarters for Washington Group Intl.(a very large enigneering firm) City of Boise
  20. Check the Emporis site, they have some construction photos of Hampton Inn(under lowrise section) and the Banner Bank who's hight is officially 182' making it the fith or sixth tallest in the city. Ugh, we need more buildings.
  21. The PF Changs in BoDo just opened, and the Edwards will open in about 2 weeks.
  22. The Jefferson Building The Jefferson
  23. Cityside Lofts are starting today..... Cityside Lofts (need Adobe Reader to view) Idahostatesman This is a great improvement over the dirt lot that is currently there.
  24. Ya, the airport is at capacity already and they are thinking of ways to make more room, and the Boise Tower thing makes me sick now......... And unfortunatly there are little pictures to share. Royal PLaza update, work is about to start..... Royal Plaza Website
