Zeitgeist

Here's a pic of the model...you can see #2 Wachovia beside it. Its kind of small but the best I could find. FYI, this was to be built where the remodeled Main building is and the current plaza (3rd and S. Tryon right beside #2). Everyone was excited and then the stock price tanked and so did Ed's big building.

The student org in the early/mid-90s was pretty active. It sponsored a Safe Zone program back then that was well received in student affairs and a number of academic areas. I have no clue what's going on there nowadays.

You know, i've been thinking the same....was in St Louis and Milwaukee recently. In both cases, I thought neither city came close to the Charlotte in terms of its dynamic feeling. They both had their nice points, but there's something kinetic about Charlotte. I've grew up in the area and have enjoyed watching this city grow and am looking forward to see what happens next.
