I've read on this forum about several stores being built with extra floors, to be opened as needed.
So what's the scoop on the lower level of Ivey's/Dillard's at SouthPark? I can't even begin to describe the sensory overload I get down there when I combine the tile wall thing, the mirrored walls, the 70s smell, and the 70s elevator -- all of which will probably be ruined forever in the "improvements."
Is there space down there, or is this just some sort of an illusion? Do they keep the offices down there, or is it storage? Is it something similar to Belk's first floor? Has Belk's first floor at SP always been in use?
Wow, that's a lot of questions...guess I've been saving them up a while!
