  1. It’s called a luffing crane. They are only used in big cities where space is tight. The angle allows luffing cranes to operate next to other skyscrapers efficiently. Luffing cranes are only used in cities with dense skyscrapers like New York, Chicago, ATL. If I remember correctly the Viridian was the first use of a luffing crane in Nashville because the Viridian is only 6 feet separation from the L&C Tower. Truly puts Nashville in the big city league.
