  1. The early college that currently is the collection of trailers next to the CRI Deck will move there permanently. In addition, that's the start of a new road that will eventually connect with the 90 degree bend in Cameron Blvd. It will be right-only egress onto Tryon. https://inside.uncc.edu/news-features/2019-05-24/construction-conference-centerhotel-underway https://facilities.uncc.edu/our-services/business-related-services/capital-projects/business-opportunities/advertisements/new-charlotte-research-institute-entrance-design-services https://facilities.uncc.edu/sites/facilities.uncc.edu/files/media/Planning/UNCC-CRI North Entry Road Report 11-22-10.pdf https://masterplan.uncc.edu/sites/masterplan.uncc.edu/files/media/UNCC-2010MasterPlan-FullReport_Revised-2011_04April27.pdf
  2. Anyone know what's going on with the old Fresh Market (previously Food Lion) at Prosperity Ch Rd and Mallard Cr Rd? Looks like it's being demoed or seriously remodeled.
  3. There's a graveyard next to the baseball field at UNC Charlotte that has unmarked graves from this indigent hospital, too. "Two cemetery plots bracket the front entrance to the stadium. The plots belonged to the former Mecklenburg County Indigents' Home; A hospital that cared for the poor, which was located near the current location of Carolinas Medical Center-University. The burials occurred in the 1930s and 1940s, before the University moved to the location in 1961. The graves are marked with plain rock markers and no record of the names of those buried there remain. The plots are closed off by wooden split-rail fencing.[3]" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_and_Mariam_Hayes_Stadium#Features
