To each there own. This building just doesn't do it for me. I honestly tried to "see" it, but I dont.

Really like the Legacy Union project, but how I wish they would have gone with height, instead of bulk!

I know.. Also the Charlotte Brewers, would be a perfect name with all the Breweries we have have in CLT.

This isn’t a loaded question or anything. Just curious, which metropolitan area / city do you think Charlotte is on a similar track to? Or is it just too unique of a track?
I'll jump in and say Charlotte reminds me of a smaller version of Houston, TX.

Is there some hidden meaning behind this question?
Not at all. Just thought it would generate more buzz.

I'm still surprised the Wells announcement isn't getting more "talk" on this board?

Dallas is the most overrated city in the country. Period.
I think it's overrated as well, but as they say, to each there own.

I still think Wells Fargo swoops in, and claims this Estate!

I mean it’s possible, but none of the C-Suite is in Dallas. I could see them moving all corporate functions in SF to Dallas, but the HQ to NYC.
to put this in perspective, uptown Charlotte alone has like 15,000 wells employees and Charlotte has close to 27000 all together
With the majority of Employees located in CLT, why not just move here!?

I hate to be the Debbie Downer, but I really don't see Wells Fargo moving there Headquarters here, as much as that would be good for bragging rights.
As much as I would like for you to be wrong, I don't either. Either TX, or NY.... I'd rather it stay in SF, or move to NY, rather to TX. For me that would be a slap in the face.

Personally, I think that an Aquarium, as well as an Family Oriented "Epic Center" would do miracles for Charlotte. While a Great place to live, visiting, is a whole another topic.

Crucial, I like the fact that you didn't exaggerate the height. This looks great!

Now I'm wondering who the main tenants will be. BOA, WF, maybe USB? The fact it's moving forward says to me they have an anchor(s). My gut says WF, yet I believe USB is doing a little more than building a Ped. Bridge!

Glad Vanguard snatched this up. Can't lie though. I really, really thought Wells Fargo would end up with this!
