  1. I am really torn on Kai: https://www.theringer.com/2021/7/15/22576835/meet-the-most-interesting-sleeper-in-the-2021-nba-draft Counterpoint; https://deanondraft.com/2021/07/04/capture-the-flag-which-prospects-are-riskiest-to-draft-in-2021/
  2. I cannot find that section in the link you sent. But below find the Prayer for Relief section, which is where the plaintiffs actually tell the court what specifically they would like it to do. PRAYER FOR RELIEF WHEREFORE, Plaintiff States respectfully request that this Court issue the following relief: A. Declare that Defendant States Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin administered the 2020 presidential election in violation of the Electors Clause and the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. B. Declare that any electoral college votes cast by such presidential electors appointed in Defendant States Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin are in violation of the Electors Clause and the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and cannot be counted. 40 C. Enjoin Defendant States’ use of the 2020 election results for the Office of President to appoint presidential electors to the Electoral College. D. Enjoin Defendant States’ use of the 2020 election results for the Office of President to appoint presidential electors to the Electoral College and authorize, pursuant to the Court’s remedial authority, the Defendant States to conduct a special election to appoint presidential electors. E. If any of Defendant States have already appointed presidential electors to the Electoral College using the 2020 election results, direct such States’ legislatures, pursuant to 3 U.S.C. § 2 and U.S. CONST. art. II, § 1, cl. 2, to appoint a new set of presidential electors in a manner that does not violate the Electors Clause and the Fourteenth Amendment, or to appoint no presidential electors at all. F. Enjoin the Defendant States from certifying presidential electors or otherwise meeting for purposes of the electoral college pursuant to 3 U.S.C. § 5, 3 U.S.C. § 7, or applicable law pending further order of this Court. G. Award costs to Plaintiff State. H. Grant such other relief as the Court deems just and proper.
  3. No one is attempting to shut down the due process of judicial system. I doubt Kermit has that power. And though I agree treason and sedition are over the top terms to use here, Kermit is correct to call out these actors for their actions. In my opinion and many experts opinion, this suit has no chance of succeeding and likely everyone accept maybe the president knows that. (I have researched and will debate that if you like but won't go into that here, unless you insist). Yet the relief they seek, to either strip the defendant states of their electors or to have the Supreme Court appoint pro Trump electors is profoundly undemocratic. And in spite of what others are implying here, Hilary Clinton accepted her defeat immediately after the election because she understood that these kind of post election protests and continued lies about voter fraud cause immense damage to our democracy. Does the president have the right to pursue all his legal options? Of course he does. But at what point, how many more cases does he have to before we also have the right to call him and his supports out for continuing to pursue lawsuits that have no evidence to support them and very little chance of succeeding while eroding confidence in our election system?
  4. I went to several places to buy mine and ended up getting my Magnum Metro from Charlotte cycles. The guy I worked with there seemed much more knowledgeable than the guy at Bike Source, though Bike Source had a larger selection. My wife got a Gazelle, we both love them but we don't use them to commute, just for fun. The Magnum has a LOT of power, which I love but it was over $2k...
  5. Rode my bike by Old Sycamore over the weekend and saw they were open, so I popped in. Turns out they are now open for delivery only, with higher minimum purchases depending on how far away you are. Check out the website for details.
  6. Her is a picture I took today of the first building they are working on in LoSo Village. Sure looks like it could be a brewery!
  7. Hey my wife and I did the exact same thing that day! We sat at bar at Common Market and then went over right when they opened. Our impression was there were lots of kids around because of the holiday, the beer was pricey and the shoot button on the Galaga machine was not working right.
  8. I think i heard that Beacon already had a buyer for the apartments in LoSo Station. They are going to be behind the drainage pond at the corner of Tryclan and Dewitt. So I bet that is what they are building first.
  9. I think they are demo-ing the triangle shaped lot on South Blvd just north of future LoSo station. Attached are pictures from the other day where they are working on the LoSo Station. They are building a new parking lot for the park and ride. I assume that means they are going to rear up the existing parking lot and work on the apartments that are going there first...
  10. My stepdaughter's objection is that there will be no parking for 18 months! But other than that, I have no clue why it was rejected. Her boss may have just started the rumor that it was rejected to stop the employees from complaining about the already too little parking problem from getting worse...
  11. My stepdaughter who works in one of those Bowers buildings says that they heard the rezoning was already killed... I have not seen anything saying that. Can anyone confirm?
  12. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but... I saw where the Panthers are moving their headquarters to South Carolina. Part of the deal is that all Panthers employees, including players, are exempt from state income tax for 15 years. But since they play their home games in NC and presumably still practice in NC, won't they still have to pay NC taxes? But maybe not as much? Any accountants out there know what the effect will be for the Panthers players?
  13. I drove by the Beacon Development at Scalybark Station last night and saw this: Anybody know anything more about it?
