The magic are a definite failure on the court. Anyone I know that is NBA literate know them as a farm team with horrible management. The games I have been to have been full of tourists from S. America and the U.K. that show up to games while on their Disney vacay to see the stars on other teams. Snubbing Shaq for that $121m was one of the worst mistakes in Orlando history which solidified them as a non serious "participation trophy" team. But hey, 2030 is right around the corner aye?

I've always liked that building, looks are subjective, but I feel it would fit so well here. This just shows how pathetic Orlando's height is compared to lowly JAX...

Many of you will disagree but if it were possible I would transplant Jacksonville's Bank of America tower to DT Orlando, specifically the corner of Orange and Central where Tier Nightclub is. That shape and height would have a dramatic effect on the skyline and create a beautifully symmetrical tiered layout downtown. Just one 600' tower is all I dream of. The rest can all be 350' visor wearing boxes for all I care.

Look closely at the base, it juts out to the south in both renderings. Also the "new" rendering shows a much more constrained north side design, where it is totally possible that the south side remains the same design as the "original" rendering because it faces a more exposed and iconic viewpoint of the skyline. The south side also has an extended wider section the bottom 2/3rds of the building with some form of observation/gathering deck on top of that stepped portion, it would be incredibly unlikely for that feature to be the same on the north side as well- thus making it look like a different building from that angle. The top third of the building looks almost identical structurally besides the window treatments. This is just speculation but it is totally possible both renderings are from the same design.

Correct me if I am wrong, this looks to be 25 floors if this is indeed topped out on landings. Initially was to be 28 floors then 26? Am I missing something?
