Not sure whether this is really Elizabeth, but does anyone know what's happening on Randolph across from Westminster Presby? I'm hearing they are starting on an underground parking lot. Apartments? Condos? This would be about 2423 Randolph Rd...thanks in advance

Sorry, can't disagree more. I love the cut-out for the Beav. It represents everything that we fight for...retaining the classics, not plowing down everything in sight for progress. I drive by daily and the taller the apartment building gets, the more it makes me smile haha! Once complete, surely it will get get media attention, probably national. It will become an icon. Good for the city, good for PM...they'll be in business for a long time. The regulars probably won't like the tourists....

Sounds about right, with slight variations. But the landmark status part is news to me. That would be an ideal scenario....well, mostly because I'm concerned about what would go in it's place =/ Agreed! This was my assumption as well...the Beaverplex will block it. As mentioned, Plaza Midwood deserves so much better....

Hearing different rumors about the old midwood high school property that currently houses the Midwood International & Cultural Center. Anyone know anything? Is it going to be sold/redeveloped?

Anyone have any updates on the building at 2101 Central? I thought council was voting on the rezoning a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen any updates. Unless I'm mistaken I understood it was going to be Central Brewery?

Agreed we need better infrastructure...but I believe there are bike lanes (or markings?) along Pecan and Hawthorne? Getting to Uptown would be nice, but so would going to Elizabeth....and NoDa...

Ahhh...this whole thing is so unfortunate...I just hate to see the empty space and look forward to something happening there...its a good spot. It would be nice if they could even take some of the sidewalk/lot space next to it and have a patio...

Anyone know what's happening with the old space where John's Country Kitchen was? I'm certain I saw a For Lease sign in the window for a while, but it's no longer there.
