It's a prime for redevelopment. Sedgefield middle school with a park next door, great views of uptown and a stone's throw to dining, retail. Good for the owners but it's these of deals that make housing harder and harder for regular folk.

If I'm counting right, it's at 14 floors so two more to go? It looks different from the renderings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Cary would probably be the best landing spot. But putting the ACC HQ minutes away from two of the biggest power players in college sports and down the street from Wake might be too much for some. Do your thing Charlotte Regional Business Alliance.

Someone on NextDoor is claiming Leather & Lace was sold and will be a "bank." Anyone hear anything? Leaving is reasonable but a bank? I dont buy it. It's a small building with little parking. The front looks a lot nicer but i miss those frescos

The apartment building on the corner of East and Euclid - across from Paper Skycrpaper - has been demolished. 331 East Blvd. It had run down appearance, I think intentionally by the owners who have the adjacent vacant lot. Combined it's about a third of an acre.

If they're buying the BB&T parking garage for the Bofa Plaza what if any impact does that have on the AutoPark at 4th and college adjacent to Packard Place? I recall that garage is "the" parking for 101 South Tryon. 4th and Church is brutal and could use anything.

I am surprised! Everytime i've been there around 10-noon on a weekday the place was humming along with only a couple tables open and the bar full. It was a popular work space and some good food. I doubted it would be successful at first too, but food menu changed and prices were lowered. A dilworth common market seemed to fit a niche. With the starbucks across Scott closing soon and growth coming to east blvd i'm just really surprised.

I love Durham. It's awesome, but it is not nearly as affluent as Raleigh/Wake. There is no Durham next door to Charlotte so Raleigh "benefits" from that.
