It's lighting in a checked pattern. The photo is white lighting, but curious if it's LED that changes colors. I think there's a photo a number of pages back. I'd repost the photo, but can't figure out how.

Yeah .. I mentioned a few posts back that the original rendering was not official. I prefer this design over the stand in, especially the glass that now exists on the side. Thank you for posting this.

Not for a long time. That will be the last thing done to the facade
I gotcha, thanks for the update. Hopefully it will be reflective of the rendering.

The Glass Railings on Ascent look amazing. I wonder if they will keep them raw concrete like that though.
I wonder when they will finally start on the parking deck....

I have been reading these forums for about 10 years now, just recently decided to join, although i don't have much value to add as I live approximately an hour away. I started really enjoying development when i used to live near UNCC. I can see both sides here, someone that may not be as much in the know and wants to "re-energize" a conversation and someone that is more involved, that wants good flowing topics and that will contribute as info is available. The main point, IMO, is the approach to anyone's comment, as it's a reflection of the community itself. It may be a deterrent to outsider and to some who want to participate. Just my 5 cents.

I drew one a long time ago on speculation alone. From what I was told my numbers were right on, but my massing WAY off.
I'll have to search back. I'm still waiting on an updated skyline rendering whenever you have some time, i love them, but i know they take time. Hope all is well in Da NYC.

By any chance, has there been a massing done of what info we have of this site?

Aside from being a urban planet geek and development enthusiast, i have done professional high end automotive detailing off and on. If there was an area near downtown that would cater to this type of space, can fit 3-4 cars, has a garage door or can be built in etc, wash bay build out.. What area would you recommended to look at?

Honestly I think the windows in the rendering were just meant to be reflecting the sky. Thats why they turned out so blue.
Ahh makes sense, tricky! But I'm not as versed in rendering's as most of you, I just know that a lot of times the final product turn out way different than the rendering haha. Thanks RDF

The building that come out better than the rendering, the top has done a lot for this building and helping it stand out. They did well with complimenting Duke Energy.

Is it me or have the windows come out way darker than in the rendering.....and i think i like it more.

Don't know any of that yet, all I know is about the office tower. It's phase 1AAA, they definitely have a tenant for the speed at which they are moving this
Maybe let's go with this, a mix of One Atlantic Center + Key Tower + One Worldwide Plaza and a TOUCH of BofA corp lol. It's a pretty great design
