  1. To be honest, I haven't been keeping a close eye on it, but I always here bits and pieces of some of the news and events that are happening. I think you could probably say that things are progressing slowly, but surely. I think conceptually, Shreveport Commons has the potential to take downtown Shreveport to the next level. It has an exciting vision...

    I found something on the Shreveport document center

    that shows the remaining Sprague street row home is 

    to be moved next to the baptist church and converted into a 

    possible artist studio/performance house 

  2. In the Downtown Development meeting the Petrolium Tower is soon to be the Petroleum Tower Lofts the renderings showed a modern design with a rooftop pool area and city has a contract with the old mercantile back building hopeful to be apartments also

  3. I've heard lots of possibilities but I'm not to sure

    Yeah, me too. I would imagine they have to do something different from what's on Youree. I mean, you don't want an exact, carbon-copy over there. I read somewhere city leaders were pushing for some newer stores/restaurants in that development. You heard/read who's supposed to be the anchor tenant over there, right?

    I really am not sure I've heard it all.
