  1. I am a Lyft driver and yesterday after the Eric Church concert I was stuck in traffic for 20+ minutes.  I was stuck in traffic on my way to pick them up and just told them to meet me, then they wanted to go to Green Hills so my GPS told me to go down 4th avenue to the interstate, which doesn't allow access to 65.  So I ignored my GPS and decided to cut back up lexington and head south on 8th avenue and hook up with 65 that way or maybe go Wedgewood to 21st but the traffic circle was blocked and made me go back onto KVB (WTF!!!).  So I either had the choice of going wayyyyy out of my way to get to green hills (on top of all of this 40 wb was blocked between 24 and 65 due to the pedestrian bridge renovation) or try to get to Broadway and pray lol.  I chose to go to Broadway and it took me forever.  I should've gone wayyy down 4th and gotten on Walsh or maybe I should've crossed the KVB bridge and gone NORTH around the downtown loop.  Both ways would've been faster in hindsight.

And that's not even the worst of it.  During Preds games they close down EVERYTHING and I have to go north of Broadway in order to pick someone up at Bridgestone (Broadway, KVB, Demunbreun and 5th are always closed) so I have to go north before lower Broadway, turn on commerce and then cut over to 4th in order to get over there.

And don't even get me started on Titans games or any events at the stadium.  I don't even bother working during those.  I always have to tell riders to walk two or three blocks away from the stadium in order to meet me.  The only way to get to East Nashville is the Spring Street bridge and that is always very backed up.  This is why we really need a new bridge crossing the Cumberland, a N/S bridge.

  2. I've always thought development there is inevitable, but like others said it's better to wait until surrounding developments are more dense first so its value will go up.  Even if he sold it now at the low price it would likely be turned into a lot of bullcrap, instead of high rise dense development.  When the time comes though, gosh that's going to be exciting!  Hopefully Lake Palmer doesn't sit there for another 10 years...

  3. Thanks Adam.

I saw onFriday when I had lunch at Sylvan Park. I am concerned that may end up being sold as well. They do not own the site, but it could happen.

I wouldn't mind if they did sell it.  That is a very ugly looking building/sign.  I've never tried it before haha maybe I should before I criticize it so harshly.  IMO there should be a small park green in between the two complexes.

  4. ID like to have one of the apartments split by the city line.  imagine, living room and kitchen in Nashville and bedroom and parking in Berry hill.  what would you claim on the census.

or imagine voting. you could vote for in a berry hill election while your neighbor that you share a wall with votes in metro.

    crazy.

It would go by which city your address is in.  It would be either or but that's a fun thought.  Looking at streetview I hope they keep that Magnolia near Franklin Pike, would be a shame to see it cut down.
