Pretty easy to follow the ownership path with this.  Parcel Viewer shows a mailing address for the house to be a property on Main St and that leads to a property on the wiLliamson side of brentwood.

So much for outsider REinvestors being good neighbors and working together.

Absolutely!! This area can become more then just warehouse city! It is a beautiful area as mentioned, and done  right can be a wonderful place for residential, office, entertainment and retail development. The access to I-840, I-24, I-40 makes me scratch my head in amazement as to why it still all sits as vacant land, with the growth taking place both in Rutherford and Wilson and the MSA as a whole one would think there should be bulldozers and cranes up and down this stretch.

LOL yeah, that's sure going to happen.  Hold your breath.

Yes people do have the the right to drink and drug themselves to the ground, but they don’t have the right to do it in the pubic streets. What happens inside those bars , needs to stay inside those bars . In almost every municipality in America, public intoxication will land you at the police station . Our Public streets are not a playground for party hearty drunks. Keep it inside! And before I get responses from all you fans of adult beverages, I know you have that right to do whatever you want To Yourselves, but you don’t have the right to disturb the general public with the nonsense.

Okay.  Ban non owner occupied STRs then.

  4. I sure am glad my freedom to talk about a sportsball facility on the internet is protected.  I bet that's what those people had in mind when they signed on the dotted line.

  5. From CM VanReece's newsletter

    Artist Lofts 3539 Dickerson Pike

    indefinitely deferred.

The Virtual Community Meeting is Moved to January 5, 2023.

I had an excellent conversation with Evan Holladay with Holladay Ventures at Madtown Coffee yesterday afternoon.  We were able to go over all of the concerns that were provided.
It is clear to me that Evan is willing to go back and work on this plan.  There is a lot that we have asked for him to do, so I want to give him time to do that and come back to us with a new plan.
He has agreed to ask the Planning Staff to indefinitely defer this application until it is worked on and can gain both planning staff and community support.  It will NOT be on heard at the November 11th Commission Meeting.

I am moving our community Meeting/Zoom call past the holidays to Thursday, January 5, 2023.
If the Planning Staff and Fire Marshall have approved the changes that Holladay will need to make and we are surprised by having something to review before Christmas, I will inform by email that the date was moved up.
The Monday, October 24 Virtual Meeting has been moved to January 5, 2023, 6 pm
  6. So when does the lawsuit start against the builders of the current stadium, since the TITans are claiming structural issues?  Oh wait, no, that won't happen because that would be anti-business and we can't have that.

Did the Burke Nihill guy creep anyone else out?

LOL at "what about everyone that already has PSLs?" and creepy guy's response of basically "Yeah, uh, we'll get back to you on that."  You have a very large brain if you think you won't have to buy another PSL.

The arms race for bigger stadiums has been dead for over a decade.  They're scaling back overall capacity to add better/larger lower bowl seats and more luxury boxes, that's where the real money is at.

It would be a massive failure if we built a new stadium without checking to see if we had enough capacity for major events.

Kinda like voting down mass transit because it was too expensive and building a stadium that barely lasted two decades.

I have said that all along. You make the fees so high it hurts, that way they get the work done faster or make other arrangements to keep the sidewalks open.

But that could hurt business-as-usual and tourism!  A loss of even one net tourist is UNACCEPTABLE and could cripple our economy!!!!!

I finally used the QuickTicket app to ride the bus and it was super easy and will encourage me to ride the bus more.

Between this and the Merritt Mansion moving in Wedgewood Houston, it’ll be a big couple years for the “old house relocation” industry in Nashville.

Or you could be like the house on Eastland and they couldn't give it away and they tore it down.
