    I meant I hate being in a car for more than an hour.

    I live in Bellevue, I just don't like driving out of town, I would rather fly. I hate driving to Atlanta.

    I would love a commuter rail system. I hate to drive more than an hour!

    I just dont want to see anymore historic propery torn down in the Central Business District. There have been 100's of buildings lost. Most of where the towers are used to be hotels. Tony Giarratanna regrets tearing down the Tennessee theater for the Cumberland now. Mayor Purcell wanted the city to purchase Mckendree or the Baptist church to expand. I would hate to see historic churches torn down.

    East Nashville and Germantown are going through massive re-construction projects. It could happen. Fountain Square was an urban failure. Poorly managed.

    Some of the housing projects are being torn down.

    The Nashville Convention Center could also be expanded where they are tearing down some of the projects.

    The convention center could always build up. Add more floors. In NYC my cousin built skyscrapers. He said they add floors to existing buildings all of the time. Nashville could use some of these surface parking lots and add more space without razing any buildings.
