Much appreciation for the pictures Mobuchu! I think this is one of the most exciting projects going on. I read recently that they will be advertising in various national publications.

I wonder if that is something the state of NC DOT would have to approve....

I just hopes it receives all the exposure it deserves. I also hopes it gets the interstate overhead signs with the olympic rings as displayed on their webisite.

If this gets marketed appropriately, I feel this could be very big for the Charlotte region. I hope that they reach out to the national audience.

I agree with you about that. From what I've read, the high end boutiques are more attracted to the upper income more than the upper middle income. Also regarding Saks, I think they will come to markets with a decent upper middle income, plus I think they have different level of stores based on the market. Just look at the markets the've come to in the past couple of years. Not to say that others in the state won't get the high end boutiques, I think overall Charlotte may be alone for a while. Most folks using Charlotte Douglas only see the inside. I always hear glowing reviews of the airport from my visitors and business travelers.

Thanks for the info HOTSPOTTNY. That is what I was thinking too. I have heard that Saks varies depending upon the market. Neiman is a hard catch. I think they're only 30 something stores.
