I had a sick kiddo all weekend and found a place in Charleston that had some sand dollar ones. Inexpensive and I don't have to make it! Perfect! I've been wondering what would fit construction-wise in that lot across from Rainbow Lake Road, where they tore out those houses.

Thanks! I'll have to check that out! I run a daycare out of my home and was going to make some salt dough ornaments. I might just make a round one and paint the palmetto tree and crescent moon on it myself. Who know though!

I love the new look of the BS library! it felt so small before and now there's so much light and space. I spent a few hours there last week to write some papers for class. I really, really wish the area would get some better eating places. Fast food is very convenient but seriously, enough is enough. Some decent sit down, family friendly restaruants would be great! I'd also love to see a Publix come this way. While I'm dreaming, how about a Target. I'd never have to leave BS! Totally off topic but: is there a place around here where I can get SC related holiday ornaments? I'm in an exchange and we're supposed to send one having to do with where we live. Thanks

I'd love a movie theater to move in. I wish we could get a Target and a Bank of America on Hwy 9. I'd never leave the area, ha ha. I've waited so long for a Dunkin Donuts to come here..oh so long. I used to live in the land of a Dunks on every street corner. When the one on Pine St opened we were pretty excited but nearly peed ourselves with glee when we saw that tiny littl DD sign on hwy9. I'd love to see some more restaurants that aren't fast food. We like Copper River a lot.
