  1. I love the photograph with the trees! It reminds me of Vertigo ( the sensation of dizziness - as well as the Hitchcock film)
  2. I have looked at every last one of your photographs. It was like taking a holiday to the wonderful, laid back South!
  3. This is a fabulous shot! The lines, the angles, the patterns - perfect in every way!
  4. The first image is wonderful!. I love how the green round shapes of the Marriott Hotel on the right reflect the classic window arches of the grey Flood Building on the left. The image with the vintage Milano and yellow/blue vintage San Francisco streetcars is a beautiful composition in colors. Keep those gorgeous photographs coming!
  5. I love the composition the white creates in front of the marvelous deep turquoise building. And then the the sign on the left top provides the perfect balance to the sculpture. Artistic natural forms and angular architecture - both man made - in perfect balance and harmony.
  6. Maybe you did this unconsciously, but my artist's eye sees that these four photographs are all linked by the common theme of grey tones with a splash of red color...
  7. This is a most beautiful picture of my single most favorite building in the city. I used to have a studio in a cottage that was the wash-house of this building at 347 Dolores Street, formerly a school for girls. Also this building reminds me a lot of another beautiful city: Charleston.
  8. This is one of my favorite pictures you ever posted on urbanplanet! We don't know whether the two girls see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time, or whether they see it every day on their way to school. In any case the image exudes a feeling of wonder and longing.
  9. This is a great study in structures and patterns, modern and antique, warm and cool colors.
  10. I love this photograph! It's like a black spider web over the city. As advanced as we are in the financial district, we still use overhead wires in most other parts of the city. I like it.
  11. These are very inspired photographs. I didn't know that it was possible to photograph the Bay Bridge from that angle. I also love the one with the skyline in the disctance. I love your photography a lot, and I'm always looking forward to your new posts. You let me appreciate anew the city that has been my home for 29 years.
  12. This is a wonderful photograph!!! I've seen a viewer write a somewhat negative remark in respond to another one of your photographs. But if they say: "It's not natural," that's besides the point. Just like people criticized the Impressionists, or Van Gogh, or Gauguin for no longer producing naturalistic looking paintings at the beginning of the 20th century, I think it's wonderful to push photograpy to another level NOW. In fact, your photograph reminds me of German Expressionist paintings. Go all the way!
  13. These are gorgeous landscape photographs, almost abstract, very moody. Wonderful work that reminds me of the watercolors of Emil Nolde, one of my favorite painters. Here is an example of one of his watercolors
  14. I like these little bouquets of... what are they, flowers?
  15. Thanks for the link provided under "Photos Details". I LOVE your website charleslpearson.com, with lots of more beautiful photos, and more...
  16. That photograph is a true masterpiece! It gives one the feeling of being in a giant ice cube, but then one sees the wing of the bird, and it's a whole different world. Or is it the fin of a fish? It's magical!
  17. I love our boat trolly Hey Zahc, The photograph with the sea of houses and the skyline in the distance is a stunning composition. Almost like an abstract painting, yet figurative. It really shows the population density of San Franciso, my favorite city. And, by the way, you're becoming my favorite photographer on Urban Planet! Keep up the wonderful work germanartist
  18. I love seeing your wonderful photographs. You seem to have a natural sense of composition and also a sense of humor!
  19. Magical photograph! I know it's a marble lobby, but it's so much more. It reminds me of a garden in the morning mist.
  20. When I looked at the right photo, I first thought I'm looking up at huge highrises. Only the left photo gives away the secret.
