  1. ALSO NEW TO LITTLE ROCK.. Just confirmed with a source at Trios... Capi from Trio's and the Pleasant Ridge are ironing out the details for a Tapa's/Wine bar to move into the former Imagine Restaurant locations. If you've ever been to a nice Tapas bar say in Austin, Texas or other large cities, done right the food can be a lot of fun and tasty.. definitely a creative addition to the Little Rock food scene. The manager also promises a broad selection of inexpensive, but stimulating wines along with Very Premium Wines availabe by the glass, as an inert gas system will be integrated with the bar area... I for one thinks this is a great idea, and for now it appears to be a done deal.... Can't wait
  2. I confirmed yesterday that Apple HAS NOT SIGNED THEIR CONTRACT for the Promenade at Chenal and is looking around.... although the Pleasant Ridge feels they'd be a long shot for a move there..
  3. It also continues confirmation of Apple. I hear now from a competing tenant manager that Apple has indeed halted development at Chenal and is now looking instead at Midtown or Pleasant Ridge instead... THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE "PULLING THE PLUMBING PERMIT" RUMOUR FROM SEVERAL WEEKS AGO! Can anybody else confirm this or add to it? I personally never understood why Apple looked so far out west... the central location/proximity to Heights/Hillcrest and natural retail neighbors (William-Sonoma/Starbuck/Pottery Barn) seem to be a better fit...IMO
  4. I also agree, Sonny Wiliams and Arthurs steaks taste/prepared better than RC.. The last time I ate at RC was in Knoxville,TN.. it was expensive, the wine selection was limited, and they always serve their filets with a pad of butter on top... that has also been my experience at other RC's(yes, Arthur's is also overpriced and the wine selection is even more limited, but the steaks are delicious!) IMO, as far as new steak chains, I'd rather see a Fleming's Steakhouse in LR.. better marinades, better wine selection than either Sonny/Arthur's and everytime I've eaten there, great service.. I've also been to a Capital Grill Steakhouse in Kansas City that was better than any RC (IMO)... Any other "chain" steakhouses that others would like to see?
