Hopefully they haven't killed this one by delaying it for so long

Demo permit applied for this one as well.
What odds you give this one starting this year?

What ever happened to the Wharf Park plan downtown. Metro owns the land right?

Anyone know if there has been any progress with this proposal?

Couldn't we start with a rail line from the airport with stops along the route for future residents, ending at the Sobro Transit Hub, and continue to add to the network with other corridors as we go?

What ever happened to the airport/downtown line Metro was considering? It seems like this could be a first step on the path to investing in transit for our corridors running into the city

Actually yes,
Downtownresident found it yesterday and the results from the appeals court were the same as the lower court ruling. They found in favor of the Mero and the developers. So more bad news for the folks at CL.
Think it will begin in the next 6 months or think this is more of a long term wait?

Is the fencing being up a sign this one is taking steps forward?
-
What kind of water damage does this cause? Minor or major? How long to fix this type of situation?
-
What odds you give this project breaking ground in 2024? Would be incredible for downtown Nashville. Is there a solid development team/money behind it?

WOW, what a well designed project! Love the architecture, the re-use of the older buildings...really hope this one can get funding and become a reality

This projects SP is up for a consent vote Thursday at the Planning meeting. Even if the CL folks sue this bunch too, there is a flaw with their law suit I just thought about.
They were suing originally saying that Planning did not have the authority to do what they did when they did it. If both of these SP's get through planning, they have to go through Council and a full vote. If the full council votes on both of these the grounds for the original lawsuit will be null and void because the entire council will have voted and will most likely pass it as it will become LAW.
They will have zero if any recourse.
What odds you give this project Smeags? Seems like the delay and increase in rates could put it at risk?

9 acres feels like a huge opportunity here. Hopefully Elmington will go big

Is it possible this could be turned into a big urban park? With a connection to the boat area park they're creating?

East Bank events this week:
-Monday, 12:00: WPLN This Is Nashville broadcast
-Tuesday, 8:30: Urban Land Institute event, “Touchdown: The Future Of The East Bank” at Bass, Berry & Simms
-Wednesday, 4:00: Metro Council joint committee meeting on East Bank Capital Improvements Budget items
What are the odds we get the bridge over the east bank that connects to hermitage ave? Seems like it would be very helpful long term to have another bridge across the river

The lot is still owned by Tamay Ozari who owns L&L Market Place.
A little surprised. That area seems like it would be great for apartments. I wonder if the Publix/apartments that might go on 40th and Charlotte are making any progress or if that's dead too

Increasing to 40k sq feet of retail is great for the area though right?
