    Unless the bulk of this tower is for office space and unless Trump has secretly negotiated several huge deals with tenants, I don't see how this will be built any time soon. There is not sufficient demand for high-end condos, and although Charlotte has a low office vacancy rate, the need for space will be less acute due to the economic downturn. That has been the case in NYC. I'm moving to Charlotte this summer and hope this great tower is built asap. I just can't see how it will be.

    Thanks for the info. What's the source of your knowledge? Do you have any information re: the project's uses (e.g., mix of office, residential, hotel, etc.)?

    I'm just curious about the building. I find it quite odd that very few renderings have been released.

    Thanks for the info. Does this tower flare out at the top or are the dimensions for the base and the top the same?

    Thanks. I don't live in Charlotte, so I only saw the on-line version. Can you describe the tower? For example, does it have some rounded corners and does it taper at all?

    I saw that article, but I don't recall seeing new renderings of this tower. I wonder why B of A and Ritz are so clandestine about it.

    Is one corner of the facade curved? Can you describe what you've seen (beyond street level)? Can you post renderings?

    Can someone post renderings of this project? I have seen only a few obscure renderings which don't even appear to be consistent. For example, one rendering shows the B of A tower to be quite fat. It's odd that the Ritz Carlton website, and the architect's website don't have renderings. Based upon what I've seen, this tower will be disappointing compared to the magnificent towers B of A has built previously and compared to the new Wachovia tower.
