With the demolitions and Grubb's recent advertising in the Elizabeth Community Newsletter, do folks have a better idea of when/what they will be putting up? Is the movie theater still on? What about the supermarket? I heard that Fresh Market was looking good.

I'm sorry but could someone quickly explain the Woodfield project? I live in the area but could not find information. The parking garage section looks enormous!

I'm delighted that Conformity appears to be taking its time with the Pecan/Commonwealth site. It goes without saying that this is a key corridor if our neighborhoods are going to be vibrant and connected as the inevitable infill development continues. Dynamism and creativity at that intersection could help better link PM with Elizabeth/7th st. Both areas will change and it would be nice to have thoughout buildings/developent that links them. I certainly hope this does NOT become a parking deck. If there is anything Charlotte doesn't need more of, it's parking.

Does ANYONE have an idea of what is going on in this project? Grubb announced the movie theater/night club, but since then there is silence. Where are the condos? Will there be a hotel/condo tower? Grocer? I remember when they first announced this project with a final completion date of 2010. It seemed so far into the future. Now I'd be happy to get a bulldozer in place before 2010!!!!

Sorry for the repetition, but could someone please state the current prospects for 7th St? As far as I knew, Conformity pulled out of the purchase of the east side, from Roy White down to right before house on Clement/7th.
