I found an article on 2 the Advocate this morning about the River Park development. It has a few renderings and has some information about the development, pretty cool stuff.

Hey everybody, I am new to Urbanplanet. I wanted to compliment dan on his Baton Rouge skyline renderings (I ran across this page yesterday). The other day (Sunday) I picked up a copy of the 25th anaversary Business Report and I noticed the page with those buildings. I couldn't help but wonder what the skyline would look like if they would have been built.
Speaking of dead projects, does anybody have any updates on the redesign of Riverplace?

Yeah, its a pretty sweet development; very big for downtown. The article said that it is a 10-15 year project, but construction should start sometime this year on the entrance (railroad underpass). I'm willing to wait if they are serious about it, it seems like a pretty ambiguous project.
I wonder how this effects River Place; if its even still in the works.
